Being new to caravanning in 2022 the Bowman Family including our beloved Cavoodle Leo, it didn't take long to realise that the usual method of restraining Leo with a conventional dog lead was less than adequate. The conundrum of what to tie him up to, then constantly tripping over his lead, or do we try the bulky and heavy alternative of a fenced pen (doggy jail).
After some endless interweb searches, the lack of an effective dog tether or premium pet restraint systems became apparent. We needed the choice of a light weight, adjustable camping zipline and ground peg dog lead arrangement that can be simply fixed to the awning legs / arms or screwed into the ground. A portable dog run that is easy to set up and pack down in minutes.
'Zipline for a pet - Zippet'
Zippet 6m - Double Braid 6mm UV resistant, marine grade, Australian made polyester rope zipline with approximately 700kg breaking strain, the easy-to-use premium quality 227kg max load cam-lock cast aluminium rope tensioner, that helps achieve and maintain tension without knots.
The generous 3m long lead, slides easily along the smooth to touch zipline via a super strong 6mm thick 316 grade marine grade stainless steel ring.
The lead length can be easily adjusted with the optional shortening clip.
To connect your beloved pet, we trust the easy to use 316 marine grade stainless steel Snap Hook that we recommend attaching to a properly fitted harness, that snugly wraps the shoulders and chest and ideally not a neck collar for extra safety. If you have a chewer or prefer to use your own lead like a lightweight cable or retractable handle type, we recommend adding an optional Clippet.
Also included is a 350mm awning pole choking rope and 850mm tree mount choking rope that have convenient fixed threading loops to attach the cam-lock tensioner. The rope tidy strap is for the unused remaining zip line. To keep your Zippet nice and tidy when not in use, a drawstring bag is also included for your convenience.
If set up as a center line zip line there is up to 32 square metres of happy pet frolicking coverage.
Available in Flame Orange and Jet Black, delivered by Australia Post - usually within 5 days, allow more time around public holidays and Christmas.
Each Zippet is proudly Australian Made by hand to the standard measurements, however custom lengths and spare parts are available upon request.

Ground Zippet
Utilizing the attributes of the aerial Zippet, we added the new 200mm recycled stainless steel Peggy Peg Peg&Stop Heavy Duty screw peg ground anchors, which can be screwed in with an impact driver into hard ground conditions.
Optional: Peggy Peg Screw-in Peg Long Aluminium (LA) available for soft ground conditions.
310mm long and weighing in at 115g with the same 17mm hex head. The LA pegs use the same included 'T' handle combo tool. (LA pegs are not to be used with impact driver).
Ideally suited to campers or as a grab and go dog restraint available in 3m and 6m options.

Peggy Pegs are available in 16 countries and growing with 1.5 Million standard pegs being sold worldwide they proven their worth. In the past 11 years, we have supplied Peggy Pegs to thousands of happy customers and have received loads of really positive feedback.
We have listened to your opinions and thoughts and made changes to our products to improve and to make life even easier. We will continue to listen and improve so we can provide you with the best products.
Peggy Pegs have a long list of features that have great benefits and reasons to use them. Comparing Peggy Pegs to normal pegs is like comparing timber nails and screws. Normal pegs get hammered in like nails, they can bend and can work loose when jerking forces of wind gusts are applied. We have worked up a sweat many times trying to get normal pegs out as well.
Peggy Pegs screw in quickly and easily using a cordless drill or hand tool and they have amazing grip because of the screwing movement if they hit stones they rotate around them rather than bending. Once screwed in they won’t work loose. Once it’s time to move on, the screw comes out in seconds. And just as importantly they are lightweight and compact so they pack away with minimal impact.
You may notice that only half of the peg is threaded on the Peggy Peg Screw-in Peg Long Aluminium (LA), this is so the blue rope clip can be moved up and down the shaft depending on how far the pegs screws into the ground. The pegs don’t need to go all the way in, as long as the thread is in the ground they are working. It’s important not to over screw or force the peg into the ground, as strong as they are even the aluminium is not indestructible (keep the torque on your drill low to start with to get a feel for the ground and the peg, this will save any damage from over-tightening). Note: Some ground conditions may need to be pre drilled. Once your Peggy Peg is in as far as it wants to go, just adjust the rope clip and click it into position close to the ground so the force is coming from as low as possible.
For very hard ground conditions Peggy Peg has introduced the Peg&Stop Heavy Duty (HD) made from recycled marine grade stainless steel, making it extremely tough, saltwater resistant and impact driller proof!
With the Peg&Stop Heavy Duty we are truly rounding off our screw peg range. To be able to use force and being durable when drilling into tough grounds, the peg needed to be designed using this new material that is resistant to corrosion.
The peg lives up to its name as well; it is intended for 'heavy duty' purposes, and it is also very 'heavy', with one peg weighing 143g.
