Being new to caravanning in 2022, the Bowman Family, including the beloved Cavoodle Leo, quickly discovered that the traditional method of restraining Leo with a regular dog lead was inadequate. We faced the dilemma of finding something suitable to tie him to, and we often tripped over his lead.
After extensive online searches, it became clear that an effective dog tether or premium pet restraint systems were hard to come by. We needed a lightweight, adjustable camping dog zip line arrangement that could be easily fixed to awning legs, trees, poles, or similar structures.
We envisioned a portable dog run that could be set up and packed down in minutes.
Enter the 'Zipline for dogs' - Zip line Pet = Zippet.
The Zippet features a 6m double braid 6mm UV resistant, marine-grade, Australian-made polyester rope zip line with an impressive 700kg breaking strain. It comes with an easy-to-use premium quality cam-lock cast aluminum rope tensioner that can handle a maximum load of 227kg, helping achieve and maintain tension without the hassle of knots.
The generous 3m long lead slides effortlessly along the smooth zip line using a super-strong 6mm thick 316 grade marine-grade stainless steel ring.
To connect your beloved pet, we recommend using our 316 marine-grade stainless steel Snap Hook, which should ideally be attached to a properly fitted harness that snugly wraps around the shoulders and chest for extra safety—avoiding neck collars. If your dog is a chewer or you prefer a lightweight lead like a cable or retractable handle type, consider adding an optional Clippet.
Included are a 350mm awning pole choking rope and an 850mm tree mount choking rope, both featuring convenient fixed threading loops for attaching the cam-lock tensioner. A rope tidy strap is also provided for managing the unused remaining zip line. Furthermore, we include a drawstring bag for your convenience, keeping your Zippet neat when not in use.
When set up as a center line zip line, there is ample space—up to 32 square meters—for your pet to frolic happily.

Peggy Pegs come with a long list of features that offer great benefits, especially when you compare Peggy Pegs to standard pegs. Using normal pegs is like using timber nails and screws; they get hammered in and can bend or work loose under the jerking forces of wind gusts. We've certainly broken a sweat trying to remove standard pegs as well.
In contrast, Peggy Pegs screw in quickly and easily using a cordless drill or hand tool. Their amazing grip, thanks to the screwing motion, allows them to rotate around stones rather than bending. Once screwed in, they won't work loose. When it's time to move on, the screw comes out in seconds. Additionally, they are lightweight and compact, making them easy to pack away with minimal impact.
You may notice that only half of the peg is threaded on the Peggy Peg Screw-in Peg Long Aluminum (LA). This design allows the blue rope clip to be adjusted along the shaft, depending on how far the peg is screwed into the ground. The pegs don’t need to go all the way in; as long as the thread is in the ground, they are effective. It’s important not to over-screw or force the peg into the ground. As strong as they are, even aluminum has its limits. To avoid damage from over-tightening, keep the torque on your drill low at first to get a feel for the ground and the peg. Note: Some ground conditions may require pre-drilling. Once your Peggy Peg is set, simply adjust the rope clip and click it into position close to the ground, ensuring the force comes from as low as possible.
For very hard ground conditions, Peggy Peg introduces the Peg&Stop Heavy Duty (HD), made from recycled marine-grade stainless steel. This makes it extremely tough, saltwater resistant, and impact driller proof! With the Peg&Stop Heavy Duty, we round off our screw peg range, allowing you to use force and durability when drilling into tough grounds. The peg is designed with a new corrosion-resistant material, living up to its name for 'heavy duty' purposes; it weighs in at 143g.
Additionally, we collaborate with Zippet, providing premium pet restraint systems that serve as effective dog tethers for camping zip lines and ground peg dog leads. Whether you're looking for a zip line for dog adventures or a reliable zip pet solution, Peggy Pegs have you covered.
